Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will grace the event, bringing further significance to the celebrations. Alongside attending the evening showcase of ‘Gaurav Gatha,’ Singh will meet ‘Veer Naris’ (war widows) and veterans during a tea gathering.
Another highlight of his visit includes the virtual unveiling of an app, the foundation-laying ceremony for an Army Paralympic Node, and the presentation of a ‘Kalash’ containing sacred water collected from forts associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
This sacred water was collected through a unique cyclothon conducted by army personnel and will soon find a home in a museum, symbolizing the connection between India’s historical heritage and its modern military might.
