TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024 Announced: Here’s How to Check Your Score and Download Your Scorecard

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially released the results for the Combined Civil Services Examination (CCSE) for Group 4 services. The results are available online, and candidates can access their scores and download their scorecards directly from the TNPSC website (tnpsc.gov.in). 1. Visit the official TNPSC website attnpsc.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, find and click on the link for the Group IV services result.
3. Enter your login credentials (register number and date of birth).
4. Submit the information, and your result will appear on the screen.
5. Download or print your scorecard for future reference.

The TNPSC Group 4 exam took place on June 9, 2024, across various locations in Tamil Nadu. The examination was conducted in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The question paper was divided into two main sections:

1. Part A- Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test: This section contained 100 questions for a total of 150 marks. A minimum of 40% (60 marks) was required to qualify for the second part.

2. Part B- General Studies and Aptitude & Mental Ability Test: This section included 75 questions from General Studies and 25 questions from Aptitude and Mental Ability, totaling 150 marks.

Only candidates who scored the qualifying marks in Part A had their Part B paper evaluated.

The TNPSC announced an increase in vacancies for Group 4 posts. Originally set at 6,244 vacancies, the commission added 480 more, followed by an additional 2,208, resulting in a total of8,932 positions. Here is the breakdown of the updated vacancies for various positions:

• Junior Assistant (Non-Security)- 3,458 vacancies
• Junior Assistant (Security)- 69 vacancies

• Steno-Typist- 642 vacancies
• Senior Factory Assistant- 25 vacancies
• Steno Typist (Grade III)- 3 vacancies
• Junior Inspector of Co-operative Societies- 17 vacancies
• Laboratory Assistant- 32 vacancies
• Forest Watcher (Tribal Youth)- 216 vacancies
• Additional Junior Assistant- 22 vacancies

• Provisional Answer Key Release: TNPSC had released a provisional answer key on June 18, 2024, allowing candidates to assess their performance and raise objections if any.
• Annual Exam Calendar 2025: TNPSC has also published its exam calendar for 2025, listing tentative dates for Group 1, 2, and 4 exams, among others, helping candidates plan their preparations.
