PM Modi’s Visit to Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, and Gujarat: Key Highlights
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and Gujarat on 7th and 8th March 2025. His visit will focus on inaugurating key development projects, launching welfare initiatives, and interacting with beneficiaries.
Day 1: 7th March 2025
PM Modi’s first stop will be Silvassa, where he will inaugurate NAMO Hospital (Phase I) at 2 PM. The hospital is expected to provide advanced healthcare facilities to the people of the region.
At 2:45 PM, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth over ₹2,580 crore. These projects are aimed at infrastructure growth, public services, and economic development in the Union Territory.
Later in the day, the Prime Minister will travel to Surat, where he is scheduled to launch the Surat Food Security Saturation Campaign at 5 PM. This initiative is expected to strengthen food security efforts and ensure nutritious food reaches the underprivileged sections of society.
Day 2: 8th March 2025
On the second day, PM Modi will visit Navsari. At 11:30 AM, he will interact with 'Lakhpati Didis', a group of empowered women who have achieved financial independence through self-help initiatives. This will be followed by a public function where he will launch various new government schemes aimed at empowering communities, boosting employment, and enhancing social welfare.
