“Due to heavy rainfall in Mumbai and nearby districts, citizens are advised to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary, avoid coastal areas, and drive cautiously,” the police posted on X (formerly Twitter).

They also assured that all officials are on high alert, ready to assist residents in case of any emergency. For help, people are advised to call the emergency number 100.
